데비안(Debian)은 전 세계 자원봉사자들이 함께 만드는 자유 소프트웨어 운영체제입니다. 데비안 안에는 웹브라우저, 오피스, 그래픽 툴, 개발 도구, 서버 소프트웨어 등 수천 개의 프로그램이 들어 있어, 설치만으로 바로 사용할 수 있는 완전한 시스템을 제공합니다. 안정성과 보안이 뛰어나며, 개인부터 기업·연구기관까지 다양한 환경에서 널리 쓰이고 있습니다.

Debian is a free software operating system developed collaboratively by volunteers from all around the world. It includes thousands of programs such as web browsers, office suites, graphic tools, development utilities, and server software, providing a complete system ready to use right after installation. Known for its stability and security, Debian is widely used across various environments—from individuals to enterprises and research institutions.

OSPN (Open Source People Network) Japan has organized the Open Source Conference (OSC)—a nationwide gathering of open source enthusiasts—since 2004. The event takes place in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hokkaido, Fukuoka, and other local cities across Japan, bringing together a wide range of open source contributors and enthusiasts who are deeply rooted in their local communities.

As it did last year, the booth at the FOSS for All Conference 2026 will introduce the Open Source Conference and Japan's open source culture, and showcase a variety of IT Dōjinshi (同人誌) books—self-published technical books that are an important part of Japanese subculture connected to the community. Many of these books were donated by authors Masafumi met at Comic Market in Japan, along with contributions from GishoHaku (技書博), a Japanese IT Dōjinshi community.

We'd like to introduce OpenStreetMap's activities in Japan!

Centered on OpenStreetMap, we hope to spark discussion around topics such as:

• Local residents taking the lead in building open data archives for their own regions
• How OSM's map-based nature lets us collaborate with the broader geospatial community
• The ways technology has boosted OSM
• How OSM itself has influenced technology, in turn

한국 사례 공유와 서울을 중심으로 한 현지 커뮤니티의 지도 정비 현황, 즐기는 방법, 기업용 지도와의 구분 활용, 활동 참여 방법에 대해 소개합니다.

위키미디어 프로젝트와 그 에코시스템에 대해 소개하고자 합니다. 위키백과(위키피디아)만이 아닌, 위키데이터 및 위키미디어 공용(Wikimedia Commons) 등 많은 프로젝트가 있다는 것을 보이고자 합니다.
부스에서는 위키데이터를 전시하고자 합니다. 위키데이터는 항목별로 ID를 가지는 구조화된 지식 베이스로, 데이터는 CC0 라이선스로 공개되어 있어 SPARQL이나 API를 통해 누구라도 사용 가능합니다. 부스에서는 실제로 데이터나 쿼리의 작동 모습을 보이며 그 사용 방법을 소개하고자 합니다.

Wikimediaのプロジェクトとそのエコシステムを紹介します。Wikipediaだけでなく、WikidataやWikimedia Commonsなど多くのプロジェクトがあります。
ブースでは、Wikidataの展示を行います。Wikidataは、項目ごとにIDを持つ構造化データのナレッジベースで、データはCC0で公開されており、SPARQLやAPIを通じて誰でも利用できます。実際のデータやクエリを見せながら、その使い方を紹介します。
また、韓国語版Wikipedia向けのオープンソースのAI編集支援ツール「WikiVault」も紹介します。翻訳や記事の下書き作成を支援するツールです（https://github.com/ykhwong/wikivault）。
ブースは韓国と日本のWikimediaコミュニティが合同で運営します。

We will introduce the Wikimedia projects and their ecosystem. Beyond Wikipedia, there are many projects such as Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons.
At the booth, we will showcase Wikidata, a structured knowledge base where each item has its own ID. Its data is released under CC0 and anyone can use it via SPARQL and APIs. We will show real data and queries to demonstrate how to use it.
We will also introduce WikiVault, an open-source AI-assisted editing tool for Korean Wikipedia that helps editors with translation and drafting (https://github.com/ykhwong/wikivault).
The booth is jointly run by the Korean and Japanese Wikimedia communities.

리브레오피스(LibreOffice)는 전 세계 기여자들이 개발하고 비영리 단체인 도큐먼트 재단(The Document Foundation)이 지원하는 프리 오픈소스 오피스 제품군입니다.
이 프로젝트는 국제 표준인 ODF(오픈 도큐먼트 포맷)를 기본 형식으로 사용하며, 특정 공급업체에 의존하지 않고도 문서를 장기간 보관하고 교환할 수 있습니다.
리브레오피스 프로그램은 100개 이상의 언어로 번역되었으며, 각 지역 사회 및 커뮤니티에서 언어 번역이 지원되고 있습니다

디지털 주권을 중시하는 공공 기관들이 대규모로 LibreOffice를 도입하고 있습니다.
독일의 슐레스비히-홀슈타인 주는 약 3만 대의 워크스테이션을 이전하고 있으며, 오스트리아 군은 1만 6천 대의 PC를 리브레오피스로 이전했습니다.
아시아에서는 대만이 2015년부터 정부 문서 표준으로 ODF를 채택해왔으며, 일부 지방 정부는 LibreOffice를 전면 도입했습니다.

한국과 일본의 리브레오피스 지역 커뮤니티가 함께하는 이번 부스에서 LibreOffice 사용법, 이전 방법, 그리고 프로젝트 전반에 관한 데모와 질의응답 시간을 가질 예정입니다.

LibreOfficeは、自由でオープンソースのオフィススイートです。世界中の貢献者が開発し、非営利団体The Document Foundationがプロジェクトを支えています。標準のファイル形式には国際標準のODF（Open Document Format）を採用しており、特定のベンダーに依存せず文書を長期にわたって保存・交換できます。100を超える言語に翻訳されており、各言語は地域のコミュニティによって支えられています。

デジタル主権を重視する公共機関で、大規模な導入が進んでいます。ドイツのシュレースヴィヒ＝ホルシュタイン州では約3万台の端末で移行が進み、オーストリア軍では1万6千台のPCがLibreOfficeに移行しました。アジアでは台湾が、2015年からODFを政府文書の標準形式として推進しており、LibreOfficeを全面採用した自治体もあります。

日本と韓国のLibreOfficeコミュニティによる共同ブースでは、デモを行い、使い方やLibreOfficeへの移行、プロジェクトについての質問にお答えします。また、韓国語や日本語などCJK言語のサポートを改善するため、一緒に取り組む仲間を探しています。

LibreOffice is a free and open source office suite, developed by contributors around the world and supported by the non-profit The Document Foundation. It uses ODF (Open Document Format), an international standard, as its native format, so documents can be kept and exchanged over the long term without depending on any vendor. It is translated into more than 100 languages, with each language supported by local communities.

Public organizations that value digital sovereignty are adopting LibreOffice on a large scale. The German state of Schleswig-Holstein is migrating about 30,000 workstations, and the Austrian Armed Forces have moved 16,000 PCs to LibreOffice. In Asia, Taiwan has promoted ODF as its government document standard since 2015, and some local governments have fully adopted LibreOffice.

At this joint booth of the LibreOffice communities in Japan and Korea, we will give demos and answer questions about using LibreOffice, migrating to it, and the project itself. We are also looking for people to work with us on improving support for CJK languages, including Korean and Japanese.
